Dayne "Dosage" Anthony is at the brink of his success - but he didn't make it there overnight. His rise to this pivotal moment started when he was six, and his sister commented on how good he sounded when he spit the lyrics from popular radio hits. She wrote a rap for him for fun, and that was the first time he poured his voice, swagger, and style onto an original track. As Dosage got older, he had a distant relationship with his lyrical skills, but then, at the age of thirteen, he decided to write his own lyrics and take a legitimate shot at recording.
Six years later, Sand and Foam, his first mixtape, was complete. His proud supporters urged him to turn the mixtape into an album. Meanwhile, he was playing shows all over Philadelphia, and promoting his brand and clothing line, 3D. On Dosage's nineteenth birthday, Lupe Fiasco invited him to open up for a show in Philly. Lupe later offered for him to open up for the Steppin Lasers tour.
